Pre-Fixing Issues
The support base for tiles must be stable, dry, flat, and clean, avoiding extreme temperatures. Slightly rough surfaces are preferred for better adhesion. Clean any dust, grease, or oil residues to ensure optimal adhesion.

Support Base Preparation
The adhesive type depends on the tile's water absorption. A thin layer of cement adhesive type C2 is recommended. For tiles larger than 30x30cm, use a double-layer adhesive technique, especially outdoors. Apply adhesive with a serrated comb for uniform distribution to prevent tension and the "eyebrow" effect.

Tile Installation
Handle tiles carefully to avoid damage. Use at least 2mm spreaders for placement. For large format tiles, use leveling clips to ensure flatness. Installation joints should absorb deformations, increase adhesion, and improve impermeability. Follow guidelines for structural, perimeter, expansion, and installation joints.

Joints and Grouts
Ensure installation joints are empty before grouting. Use a rubber float for grout application. Test grout on a small area to check for staining. Use a bonding material with fine granulometry to avoid scratches.

Cleaning and Maintenance Tips
Avoid hydrofluoric acid as it can damage tiles. Regular cleaning involves removing waste, cleaning spills promptly, and using recommended cleaners. For unpolished tiles, use a nylon sponge or soft brush; for polished tiles, use a non-abrasive cloth. Rinse thoroughly to remove detergent residues. Use ammonia-based products diluted in water for cleaning, avoiding chemically aggressive products.

Tiles with Metallic Effects - PVD
Immediate cleaning after installation is crucial to remove grout residues. Avoid metal tools or abrasive pads. For stubborn stains, use alcohol and lukewarm water. Perform a basic or alkaline wash after initial cleaning to prevent dirt retention.
