Your Choice of On-Site Sewage Treatment Where no Mains is Available Septic tanks are a traditional well established option to be taken into consideration where no mains drainage is available. However, it would be preferable to consider the installation of a sewage treatment plant or pumping station as an alternative to that of a septic tank.
