TECHNICAL DATA SHEET N. 42V Edition 01 www.anticasignoria.it VERTIGO is an internal coating formulated with resins in aqueous emulsion with marble grains of various sizes and with quality additives that give the product the following characteristics: PLASTICITY - BREATHABILITY - ALKALINE STABILITY - EXCELLENT BONDING TO THE SUBSTRATE. The special formulation allows for easy application of decorative finishes to achieve incredible and diverse aesthetic effects. VERTIGO can be coloured by the Speedy ColorManager tinting system. IDEAL USES VERTIGO can be applied on the inner walls of masonry, plasterboard, cement-based substrates as well as to old organic or mineral based paint and coatings provided they are dry and intact. It is particularly suitable to be finished with CLASSIC CHIC, CHIC METAL CHIC FINE CHIFFON, ansd TRESOR. products from Di Donato. SPECIFIC WEIGHT: 1,78 -1,83 kg/I. VISCOSITY: Paste type product. SPREAD RATE PER COAT: 1-1,5 kg/sq m. It varies according to the condition of the substrate and the thickness applied. It may be necessary to determine the actual yield with a preliminary test on a specific substrate. VOLUME SOLIDS: 82% ± 1 %. GRAIN SIZE: < 600 micron. VOC EMISSION LIMITS (VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS): EU limit value of VOC (Directive 2004/42/EC) for these products (Cat. A/a;WB): 75 g/l (2007); 30 g/l (2010). VERTIGO contains a maximum of 30 g/l of VOC. WAY OF USE SURFACE PREPARATION: On new surfaces, apply a coat of levelling PRIMER UNIFORMANTE AS appropriately diluted and also apply a coat of DAMASCATO white undercoat. On Painted surfaces, remove any loose material and make sure that the surface is free from dust, oil and grease and then proceed as per new surfaces. APPLICATION: VERTIGO can be applied and patterned with a steel trowel, sea sponge, crescent sponge, hard brush or fan style wire brush. The final aesthetic appearance can be customized depending on tool selection and the chosen method of application. -Style TWEED: Apply VERTIGO evenly with a steel trowel and whilst the product is still wet work the "design" using a sea sponge with horizontal, vertical or circular movements (for details see the brochure). Before the product has dried completely smooth the surface with a metal trowel. When the VERTIGO is completely dry apply a colour coat of CHIC END using a haired roller. After about 6 hours apply a coat of CHIC METAL in a different colour from the preceding colour using a crescent sponge to colour the relief surfaces. -Style DEVORE: Apply VERTIGO evenly with a steel trowel and whilst the product is still wet work the "design" using a hard brush and sea sponge with slanting movements (for details see the brochure). Before the product dries completely, smooth the surface with a metal trowel. When the VERTIGO is completely dry apply a CHIC END colour coat using a haired roller and immediately distribute the coat in the same direction as the relief pattern of the VERTIGO using a crescent sponge. -Style DRILL: Apply VERTIGO evenly with a steel trowel and whilst the product is still wet work the "design" with slanting movements using a fan style wire brush with slanting movements (for details see the brochure). Before the product has dried completely, smooth the surface with a metal trowel. When the VERTIGO is completely dry apply a colour coat of TRESOR using a haired roller and immediately distribute the colour in the same direction as the relief pattern of the VERTIGO using a crescent sponge. -Style PIQUET: Apply VERTIGO evenly with a steel trowel and whilst the product is still wet work the "design" with slanting movements using a fan style wire brush from right to left and then from left to right in order to obtain a cross pattern (for details see the brochure). Before the product dries completely smooth the surface with a metal trowel. When the VERTIGO is completely dry apply a colour coat of TRESOR using a haired roller and immediately distribute the product in the same direction as the relief of the VERTIGO using a crescent sponge. -Style MILLERIGHE: Apply VERTIGO evenly with a steel trowel and whilst the product is still wet work the "design" using a fan style wire brush in vertical movements (see the brochure for details). Before the product dries completely, smooth the surface in the same direction as the grooves using a metal trowel. When the VERTIGO is completely dry apply a colour coat of CHIFFON using a haired roller and immediately distribute the product in the same direction as the grooves of the VERTIGO using a crescent sponge. -Style MOIRE: apply the VERTIGO with the steel trowel unevenly and with semi-circular movements (see the brochure for details). When the VERTIGO is completely dry apply three different finishes of TRESOR in a random way using a spalter brush and immediately distribute the product in the same direction as the strokes of the VERTIGO using a crescent sponge.

DRYING AT 20°C AND 65% R.H: : Touch dry after 5-6 hours, Completely dry in approximately 24 hours. TIME BETWEEN COATS: VERTIGO can be painted over after approximately 24 hours at +20°C. ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Apply the product when the temperature of both the general environment and the support s between +5°C and +30°C. TOOLS CLEANING: With water immediately after use.
