Product Data Sheet ASMACO 2670 Product Description: Asmaco 2670 is a single component, neutral cure silicone sealant which is particularly suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. This is a high bonding, low modulus sealant and offers durable adhesion to most porous and non porous substrates including glass, metals, coated and painted metals, plastic, wood, concrete etc. The product is resistant to Ozone, UV and temperature extremes. Product Data Sheet Usage Instructions: ASMACO 2670 is supplied as a ready to use product. The product can be used with normal caulking guns. Surface must be clean, dry and should be free from oil, grease, dust and frost. After suitable joint preparation and masking, attach the nozzle to cartridge, cut to required dimension and gun the sealant into gap continuously. Closed cell polyethylene backup rod or a bond breaker tape must be used to avoid three sided bonding that limits movement capability. Mask areas adjacent to joints to ensure neat sealant lines. Product Data Sheet Storage and Shelf Life: Store in cool dry place, not over 25oC away from direct sun light and source of heat. ASMACO 2670 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing if stored in original unopened container. In places where high heat and humidity are present, special precautions must be taken. Store product in a covered, well ventilated warehouse and avoid excessive heat conditions.
