The AmDeck® Floor & Roof System by Amvic is a modular, lightweight construction solution using Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) forms for concrete floors and roofs. It complements Amvic's Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) structures, providing a complete structural and thermal building envelope.

Specifications

• Uses 10-inch lightweight steel framing studs.
• EPS insulation with an R-value of 20+.
• Maximum shoring distance of 25 feet.
• Spans distances of 30 to 35 feet.

Installation Procedure

1. Erect shoring as per engineer or code requirements.
2. Install steel joists 16 inches apart.
3. Stack forms from one side to the other.
4. Install electrical conduits and block-outs.
5. Place rebar for concrete joists and top.
6. Pour concrete onto forms and use a pencil vibrator for consolidation.
7. Smooth concrete to create a flat surface.
8. Let concrete cure before proceeding with further construction stages.
