Product catalog summary
Product Specifications
The document describes a resilient acoustic underscreed made from agglomerated recycled SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber), EVA foam, and cork, bonded with a polyurethane elastomer. It is designed for impact noise insulation in floating screeds, with a density of 600 kg/m³ and an impact noise reduction of ΔLw 24-26 dB depending on thickness.

Key Features
  • Impact noise reduction
  • High load capacity with low deflection
  • Long-term resilience
  • Made from recycled and natural materials

Thermal Properties
Thermal conductivity is 0.0963 W/mK as per ISO 8301.

Standard Dimensions
  • Thickness: 6/3 mm and 8/4 mm
  • Width x Length: 1x15 m

Physical and Mechanical Properties
  • Specific Weight: 600 Kg/m³
  • Tensile Strength: 100 KPa
  • Recovery after 0.7MPa: > 80%
  • Fire Classification: E/Efl as per EN 13501-1 and ISO 11925

Acoustical Results
  • ΔLw: 24 dB for 6/3 mm, 26 dB for 8/4 mm
  • IIC: 50 dB for both thicknesses

Dynamic Stiffness
  • 6/3 mm: 45 MN/m³
  • 8/4 mm: 32 MN/m³

Installation Instructions
Ensure room conditions are suitable with temperature above -5ºC and moisture content below 75%. The subfloor should be sound, clear, and level with moisture content not exceeding 2.5% by weight. Install a perimeter insulation barrier to prevent lateral noise propagation. Unpack and acclimate the Acousticork U34C 24 hours before installation. Install with the dimpled side down, ensuring tight joints and secure with tape. Cover with a waterproof membrane before screeding. Do not mechanically fasten the material.
