Design and Inspiration
The Zenues rug, designed by Sebastian Herkner, draws inspiration from ancient Colombian civilizations, particularly the Zenu culture. The design is influenced by the Narigeura symbols found in gold works at the jewellery museum in Bogota. The Zenues people, known for their intricate water channel systems, inspired both ancient goldsmiths and Herkner's modern rug design. The rug features a subtle yet striking pattern with varying pile depths in a gentle crème white.

Craft and Manufacturing
Each rug is handcrafted in the Colombian Andes using traditional looms. The process involves shaving channels into the pile by hand, taking approximately four weeks to complete each rug.

Care Instructions
Some shedding is expected initially. Loose threads should be trimmed or pulled in with a crochet needle. Regular vacuuming on a low suction setting is recommended to prevent lint buildup.
