The La Che side tables and pots are inspired by the traditional weaving craft of Colombia. Designed by Sebastian Herkner, the collection pays homage to the Laches, an indigenous Colombian people known for their basket weaving techniques.
German designer Sebastian Herkner, a frequent collaborator with ames, has extensively explored Colombia to understand its traditional crafts. He is recognized for his work with international design brands and his ability to combine materials, colors, and textures.

Produced in the Boyacá region of Colombia, the items are crafted using traditional fique plant fibers. The dyes are natural, derived from local nuts, roots, and bark. The labor-intensive process requires weeks to complete each piece, making the series exclusive and rare.
Keep away from damp conditions and clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The fibers are heat and fire-resistant.
