Construction Phases

The new roofs required an even substrate, achieved by installing plain sheet metal and refurbishment insulation boards. The EVALON® Solar membranes, lightweight and flexible, were installed without the need for heavy-duty support structures. The membranes are weatherproof and allow for efficient cable management.

A Home Match for the Future: A win-win situation for both football and the environment. About 10,470 m² of the stadium roof area of approximately 18,000 m² are covered with the world‘s first powergenerating waterproofing membrane EVALON® Solar.
