ALVARADOMFG.COM INTELLIGENT ADMISSION TURNSTILE protecting assets and controlling the flow of people TAS12-EDC The TAS12-EDC is an intelligent admission turnstile consisting of an electric lock controlled turnstile integrated with a barcode scanner, color TFT touchscreen display, and an advanced controller that communicates with Alvarado server based gate admission software via TCP/IP. The TAS12-EDC is primarily used for patron self-validation of paper and digital tickets and passes at facility entry points. Patrons present barcoded entry credentials to the device. The Alvarado gate admission software validates the presented credential and the status of the credential is communicated to the patron through user-defined screen graphics and audio sounds.
