INTELLIGENT ADMISSION STATION ©ALVARADO protecting assets and controlling the flow of people -AS1 The TAS12-AS1 is an intelligent admission station consisting of a barcode scanner, color TFT touchscreen display, and an advanced controller that communicates with Alvarado server based gate admission software via TCP/IP. The TAS12-AS1 is used for patron self-validation and attendant assisted entry applications. Typical examples of attendant assisted applications include family and disabled entry areas, biometric validation or multiple entries associated with a single credential (group entry). Barcoded credentials are presented to the admission station. The Alvarado gate admission software validates the presented credential and the status of the credential is communicated through user-defined screen graphics and audio sounds. Through the addition of an optional relay, the admission station can activate (unlock) an adjacent turnstile or gate.
