Seat structure is made of two shells made of steel (475x450mm and 2mm thick), press shaped and finished with epoxy powder coating. 2 folded pieces made of steel (placed at right and left ends) join seat and back shells. When the seat is installed onto a telescopic platform, these components allow the manual folding of the backrest. The alternative version with tip-up mechanism includes two torsion springs which determine the automatic folding action. A steel cylinder, 60mm diameter finished with epoxy powder coating (just like seat and back shells), acts as an embellishment of this system. Upholstery of seat and backrest made of open-cell polyurethane foam, covered with M-1 fireproof fabrics with an additional underlying M-1 layer. Both fabrics and fireproof layer comply with legal regulations UNE-EN 1021: 1994, part 1 & 2. The seat can be installed individually or onto 2-3 unit fixed or mobile benches.
