SIT BOOK Seat with or without armrests especially designed for telescopic platforms. Seat structure is made of two shells made of steel (475x450mm and 2mm thick), press shaped and finished with epoxy powder coating. 2 folded pieces made of steel (placed at right and left ends) join seat and back shells. When the seat is installed onto a telescopic platform, these components allow the manual folding of the backrest. The alternative version with tip-up mechanism includes two torsion springs which determine the automatic folding action. A steel cylinder, 60mm diameter finished with epoxy powder coating (just like seat and back shells), acts as an embellishment of this system. Upholstery of seat and backrest made of open-cell polyurethane foam, covered with M-1 fireproof fabrics with an additional underlying M-1 layer. Both fabrics and fireproof layer comply with legal regulations UNE-EN 1021: 1994, part 1 & 2. The seat can be installed individually or onto 2-3 unit fixed or mobile benches.
