Specifications:
The seat is designed specifically for theatres and auditoriums. It features a seat and backrest made from open-cell polyurethane foam on a 12mm thick beech plywood core. The covering is M-1 fireproof fabric with an additional M-1 layer, compliant with UNE-EN 1021: 1994, parts 1 & 2.

Construction:

EURIDICE-1

EURIDICE Seat especially for theatres and auditorium. Seat and backrest made with open-cell polyurethane foam on a beech plywood core, 12mm thick, covered with M-1 fireproof fabrics with an additional underlying M-1 layer. Both fabrics and fireproof layer comply with legal regulations UNE-EN 1021: 1994, part 1 & 2. Backrest is held and protected with an outer steel stamped shell, 2mm thick, fixed to sidearms by means of two folded plates, 3mm thick. Sidearms are made of different welded steel plates of 50x5mm. All components are finished with epoxy powder coating. The folding system is made up with 2 pivot mechanisms. Pivot mechanisms are made of injected polyamide, very resistant to mechanical demands, and do not require maintenance. The left pivot mechanism generates the automatic reversion when the user stands up, by means of a torsion spring. The right pivot mechanism acts as a structural component. There is a shock absorber inside it which applies an opposite strength to the spring, thus providing a smooth movement when the seat folds. Armrests made of solid beech wood finished with two layers of polyurethane varnish. Fixing to the floor is achieved by means of two orifices placed at the bottom part of sidearms.
