Seat and backrest made of beech plywood core, 12mm thick, upholstered with cold moulded polyurethane foam, covered with M-1 fireproof fabrics with an additional underlying M-1 layer. Both fabrics and fireproof layer comply with legal regulations UNE-EN 1021: 1994, part 1 & 2. Sidearms made of die cast aluminium, finished with epoxy powder coating, black colour. They hold seat and backrest set by means of steel axles. Sidearms are fixed by their bottom side to a bench system, made of a rectangular steel tube and feet made of tube and steel plate. Fixing to the floor is achieved by means of these components. When the seat is installed onto a telescopic platform, it automatically folds by means of two gas pistons, one for each leg of the bench. A simple pedal system fixed to the foot structure activates the clutch system allowing the seat folding. This system is automatic, and does not require the intervention of the installation staff. This seat allows the option of being installed onto continuous cross-beams (in banks), or onto a rail system. Armrests made of polyurethane foam with inner steel core, black colour, or made of solid beech wood finished with two layers of polyurethane varnish. The automatic tip-up mechanism rotates seat and moves the backrest vertically to the fold position when the seat is vacated. The seat is 155mm when folded. At the same time, the armrests are also rotated until they reach a vertical position. Optionally, the seat can incorporate a writing tablet with antipanic system, which is folded at the front of the sidearm. It is made of beech plywood finished with polyurethane varnish, or stratified surface in black colour. Folding mechanisms are made of tube and steel and aluminium plate.
