Design Overview
Designed by Patrick Norguet, the Kobi chair embodies a blend of technology, functionality, and lightness. Inspired by traditional iron wire chairs, it features an elegant and lightweight structure with a contemporary suspended architecture. The chair's body is crafted from woven soldered round steel wire, forming a basket-like structure.

Materials and Construction
The chair's shell is available in enamelled or chromed steel, supported by a belt made from stove enamelled aluminium. The legs are constructed from aluminium with an oak veneer. The support belt elegantly embraces the seat, creating a cohesive form.

Cushion Options
Cushions are available in leather or fabric, designed to fit the seat only, seat plus back, or the full shell. They are shaped to adhere perfectly to the shell, maintaining a visual unity with the chair's structure.

Structural Variants
Two structural options are offered: one with stove-enamelled aluminium support and legs with a coloured or chromed shell, and another with stove enamelled support and oak-veneered aluminium legs with a lacquered shell in various colours.
