HYPERDESMO® S-WRPolyurethane liquid membrane for waterproofing of wet rooms and non-exposed applications. DESCRIPTION • Verandas and balconies (under protection) ALCHIMICA's investment in new production facilities and polymerization procedures. This investment facilitated the manufacture of a low solvent HYPERDESMO® i.e. it is not subject to ADR regulation and can be transported as nonflammable material without hazardous transportation limitations (non-IMO). The product is a one component polyurethane fluid that cures with the humidity in the atmosphere. It produces a highly elastic, hydrophobic membrane and has been designed to offer excellent longterm waterproofing of wet rooms, substructures and any application not exposed to UV. The rheology of the material is such that it allows easy application even on vertical substrates. The use of HYPERDESMO® range additives is possible: ACCELERATOR-3000A or SOLVENT-01. Full range of Primers used in classic HYPERDESMO® system applies to HYPERDESMO®-S-WR as well. Apply with brush, roller or airless spraying in one or two coats with minimum total consumption of 1.5 kg/m2. COMPLIANCE-CERTIFICATION The product is CE certified: 2928-CPR-111 according to the European Standard EN 1504-2. Root resistance according to CEN/TS 14416. Certified according ASTM C 836/C 836M -18. RECOMMENDED FOR Waterproofing of: • Wet rooms • Foundation walls • Flat roofs (under tiles or screed) LIMITATIONS Not recommended for: • UV exposure. • Applications where high temperatures are expected. Not recommended for waterproofing under dark color tiles (outdoors) or on thermo-insulating materials. • Unsound substrates. • Waterproofing of swimming pool surfaces in contact with chemically treated water. APPLICATION PREREQUISITES Can be successfully applied on: Concrete/steel reinforced concrete or otherwise, fibrous cement, mosaic, cement roof tiles, wood, corroded metal, and galvanized steel. Standard concrete substrate conditions (no primer needed): • Hardness: R28 = 15 MPa. • Humidity: W < 10%. • Temperature: 5-35 oC. • Relative humidity: < 85%. HYPERDESMO® S-WR CONSUMPTION Primer selection for special conditions and substrates: Please refer to the Primer Selection Table. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Clean the substrate using a high-pressure washer, if possible. Remove oil, grease and wax contaminants. Cement laitance, loose particles, mould release agents, cured membranes must also be removed. Surface irregularities should also be filled with HYPERSEAL®-25LM-S or HYPERSEAL®-EXPERT. Priming: Apply the required primer following the guidelines above. Mixing: Use a low speed (300 rpm) mixer. Add SOLVENT01 at 5-10% for application by spraying....
