Warranties
The AKRATHERM sheets are UV-protected on the external side through a co-extrusion process. In Europe, they come with a 10-year warranty against yellowing and weather damage, such as hail. The warranty duration may vary for non-European countries. For more details, refer to the Warranty Certificate.

Certifications
The AKRATHERM sheets are classified for fire performance under EN 13501-1 B s1 d0 / DIN 4102 B1. Copies of the respective certificates are available upon request.

Resistance to Chemical Agents
The sheets are resistant to low-concentration mineral and organic acids, detergents, soap and salt solutions, fats and oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and alcohol. They are not stabilized against aromatic hydrocarbons and strong alkali.

Positioning, Tools, and Fixing
For cutting, use a circular saw with fine teeth or shears. Install the sheets with the UV-protected side facing outward and align the cells parallel to the water flow direction. For curved applications, curve along the cells, not perpendicular, and adhere to the minimum radius to avoid surface tension. After cutting, remove chips and dust with compressed air and seal cells with special aluminum tape. Remove film protection immediately after installation to prevent sticking from sun heat. Use an EPDM washer on top of the bore-hole before screwing, and ensure the drilled hole is wider than the screw diameter to allow for thermal movement. Use only polycarbonate-compatible silicon if necessary.

Care and Maintenance
Do not store sheets exposed to the sun or harsh weather without protection. Clean regularly to remove dust and pollution using cold or lukewarm water and neutral detergents. Avoid abrasive cloths, hot water, and chemical detergents, and do not clean panels when heated by the sun.
