Introduction
AKEPOX® 5000 and AKEPOX® 5010 are specialized two-component adhesive systems designed for the stone-working industry. These systems are based on low yellowing epoxy resins, making them ideal for outdoor applications due to their weather resistance and minimal yellowing properties. They are particularly suitable for visible adhesive joints.
Properties
The adhesives adhere well to damp stones, are alkali-proof, and exhibit virtually no shrinkage during hardening. They have high mechanical properties, show little fatigue tendency, and provide weather-resistant bonding.
Applications
These adhesives are used for bonding natural and artificial stones to each other and to materials like glass, wood, and ceramic.
