Introduction:
AKEPOX® 5000 and AKEPOX® 5010 are specialized two-component adhesive systems designed for the stone-working industry. These systems are based on low yellowing epoxy resins, making them ideal for outdoor applications due to their weather resistance and minimal yellowing properties. They are particularly suitable for visible adhesive joints.
Properties:
- Excellent adhesion on damp stones.
- Alkali-proof and minimal shrinkage during hardening.
- High mechanical properties with low fatigue tendency.
- Weather-resistant and low yellowing.
Applications:
These adhesives are used for bonding natural and artificial stones to each other and to materials like glass, wood, and ceramics.
