Centrifugal Fans and Blowers Compact Fans ACF Compact Fans A range of four compact direct drive centrifugal fans incorporating external rotor motors with intgral balanced tab-lock constructed forward curved impellers. With their open inlets this range offers significant benefits in performance and pressure development where space availability for an air moving device within ^^■^^ equipment is very limited. General Installation Conditions Thse fans are suitable for handling ambient temp騩ratures up to 65°C. dpendant on model (see data chart) and for universal mounting, normally from the intgral outlet flange. The fans must not be used for handling explosive, inflammable or corrosive gases, nor sighted in such environments. Typical applications Compact cooling in electronics cabinets and lighting. Used for smaller air conveying Systems. PERFORMANCE DATA Sp驩cifications The dynamically balanced motor impeller assemblies are mounted within cases manufactured from mild steel sheet . Each fan is fitted with an outlet flange incorporating fixing holes for installation. The motors are of the permanent capacitor type and have flying leads for flexible electrical connection. Speed Control The fans in this range are eminently suitable for flow control by voltage variation. Maintenance Very little servicing is required. The motor bearings are "sealed for life" and no provision is made for re-lubrication. It is recommended that the impeller is carefully cleaned annually, or more frequently where dusty conditions prevail.
