The fabric consists of black netweave, and the aluminium back adapter is grey gloss lacquered. 6 | Ease | Five-star base and castors & Extra high counter gas lift and foot ring Five-star base and castors The five-star base comes in black plastic or polished aluminium. The choice of castors depends on the floor surface: hard finish for a soft floor or soft finish for a hard floor. Extra high counter gas lift and foot ring The Ahrend Ease is also available with extra high counter gas lift and foot ring; adjustable from 61 to 91 cm. With a view to safety when using the synchro-movement mechanism, the chair is fitted with sliders.

7 | Ease | Sustainability & Certification Sustainability The Ahrend Ease is made from modular components which are easily replaceable. For example, arm rests and upholstered parts are simple to renew, thus extending the life of the chair. No screws, staples or glue are used in constructing the back: it can be disassembled without tools. The back adapter is made from aluminium, which is fully recyclable.
