Lafarge SustainaCem® cement is a pre-blended sustainable binder for use in the concrete products market, providing over 15% reduction in embodied carbon when compared to CEM I 52,5N. Technical support available to manage transition. Lafarge SustainaCem cement has been engineered to provide the market with one material to avoid the need for fillers and additions. It can be used in concrete products and concrete block paving. In semi dry applications it maintains the density and strengths giving comparable early age strengths against CEM I 52,5N. It can provide an advantage by only using one silo but you can use it the same as a CEM I blended with PFA or GGBS. FEATURES & BENEFITS ► Pre-blended material with robust quality testing. ► Maintains density and finish of paving blocks for long lasting performance. ► Lighter in colour than a Lafarge Portland Cement (CEM I) easier to manipulate the colour pallet to achieve the best end result ► Can be used with various admixtures and additions. ► Reduced embodied CO2. AVAILABILITY Available in bulk loads delivered by tanker. Site must have suitable access for vehicles and a safe discharge point APPLICATIONS ► Concrete block paving ► Building blocks ► Paving slabs ► Roof tiles ©Aggregate Industries UK Limited.
