T he acid-etched technique can be used to gently obscure the surface of the glass. Treating the surface in this way guarantees translucent glass with a satin finish noted for its fine grain. Ease of processing M atelux has the mechanical and thermal properties of base (float) glass. It can therefore be toughened, laminated, assembled as double glazing, bevel cut and so forth.
