T he acid-etched technique can be used to gently obscure the surface of the glass. Treating the surface in this way guarantees translucent glass with a satin finish noted for its fine grain. Ease of processing M atelux has the mechanical and thermal properties of base (float) glass. It can therefore be toughened, laminated, assembled as double glazing, bevel cut and so forth. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS PROCESSING OPTIONS Safety The acid-etched side must face the exterior of the laminated assembly.
