Colorbel Colour Matching

Colorbel Colour Matching

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Colorbel is a type of glass that features a thermally glazed, opaque enamel on one side, designed for facade applications. It offers a range of solutions for designers, with a focus on color matching and durability.

Colorbel CM (Colour Matching)
The Colorbel CM range is available in single or double glazing and offers a variety of colors to match AGC vision glasses and spandrels. It is designed to complement the Stopray range of glasses, which provide thermal insulation and solar control.

Benefits
  • Toughness: The enamelled side is produced through high-temperature glazing, enhancing mechanical strength and chemical resistance. It is colorfast, non-flammable, and withstands extreme temperature differences.
  • Safety: Thermally toughened to resist thermal stresses and impact, withstanding temperature differences of up to 200°C.
  • Environmental Friendliness: Produced without cadmium, making it environmentally friendly.
  • Attractiveness: Offers color matching between vision glass and spandrels, with a popular iridescent appearance for outdoor applications.

Technical Specifications
  • Color Matching Table: Lists specific Colorbel CM and Stopray combinations for precise color matching.
  • Design: Available in 6 mm and 8 mm thicknesses, with maximum sizes of 1800 x 2800 mm and 1800 x 3600 mm respectively.
  • Certification: Complies with international safety glass standards (EN 12150, EN14179, EN 1863). Heat soak testing is available to reduce spontaneous breakage risks.

Remarks
  • Thickness and color uniformity can vary slightly; using a single thickness is recommended.
  • Color variations are normal due to manufacturing processes; ordering for the entire project at once is advised.
  • Installation should consider background color and light incidence to minimize visual discrepancies.

Colorbel Colour Matching-1

Colorbel CM Colorbel Colorbel is a clear or tinted glass or coated glass with a thermally glazed, opaque enamel on one side. Over time, it has evolved into a product that better meets the needs of facade designers, offering a whole host of solutions for multiple applications. Through this approach, AGC has built up valuable experience in production and colour development techniques, creating an entire palette of enamels that combine highresistance glass with rich colours that ooze style and sophistication. Colorbel CM (Colour Matching) The Colorbel CM range of spandrels is available in single or double glazing and in a wide variety of colours carefully designed to ensure AGC vision glasses and spandrels match one another perfectly. Benefits Tough The enamelled side of Colorbel, is produced using a high-temperature glazing process, thereby boosting its mechanical strength and making it chemically resistant to atmospheric agents. The special enamelling ensures the glazing and its colour maintain their integrity in the long term. Toughened Colorbel CM is colourfast, nonflammable and resistant to extreme temperature differences, making it the ideal glazing for facade applications. Safe To help architects make the right choice and ensure the consistency of its range, AGC has come up with solutions to perfectly match the colours of its vision glasses and range of spandrels. Colorbel now offers a colour matching solution for the latest Stopray glasses marketed by AGC. Colorbel is a thermally toughened glass. Environmentally friendly A range of soft-coated glasses combining a esthetical appearance with thermal insulation and optimal solar control The toughening process makes the glass highly resistant to thermal stresses, meaning it can cope with differences in temperature of 200°C (or 100°C). The mechanical strength and impact resistance of the glass are also significantly higher than annealed glass. Colorbel CM glasses are environmentally friendly because they are produced using a new, advanced process that removes the need for cadmium. Attractive Colour matching between vision glass (double or triple-glazed) and spandrels (see remarks). Colorbel is popular in outdoor applications both for its structural strength and iridescent appearance.

As a result, the skin of the glass remains at a permanently high pressure (more than 10,000 PSI), making it particularly resistant to thermal shock. This means toughened Colorbel CM can resist extreme differences in temperature. On request, toughened Colorbel CM can also be heat soak tested to reduce the risk of spontaneous breakage due to...
