TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AF SLEEVE B Fireproof sleeve for insulated metal pipes and electrical cables DESCRIPTION AF SLEEVE B is an intumescent sleeve certified under EN 1366-3 for up to EI 240 sealing of cable bundle and metal pipe penetrations insulated with combustible and non-combustible pipe sections, in walls and floors. The product guarantees the integrity and thermal insulation for pipe penetrations up to a maximum diameter of 200 mm with insulation of a maximum thickness of 60 mm due to its high intumescence. The strip's thin profile (only 4 mm high) enables its application around the pipe directly inside the rigid structure without removing the insulating cupel. Wrap AF SLEEVE B around the penetration to be protected (check the application data sheets for the winding numbers needed); 2. fix AF SLEEVE B with adhesive tape at the penetration; 3. so that it is inserted flush with the sealing consisting of a double AF PANEL glued and sealed with AF SEAL W. SPECIFICATION Supply and application of AF SLEEVE B intumescent sleeve, which has an expansive capacity of more than 20 times the initial volume, for up to EI 240 protection of insulated metal pipes in walls and floors. The system is certified for use in combination with semi-rigid AF PANEL rock wool panels.
