TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AF MULTICOLLAR Firestop collar roll for mechanical and electrical installation penetrations DESCRIPTION AF MULTICOLLAR is a modular firestop collar certified under EN 1366-3 for up to EI 240 sealing of mechanical and electrical system penetrations in walls and floors. The external stainless steel structure can be applied in humid environments while the intumescent strip with high expansive capacity can secure large elements. AF MULTICOLLAR can be cut to size directly on site and is an ideal solution when there is lack of complete information on the exact conditions. Unlimited under normal storage conditions APPLICATION METHOD 1. measure the diameter of the pipe to be protected and cut the foil and sleeve according to the following table; 2. wrap the sleeve on the pipe to be protected and fix it with normal adhesive tape; 3. wrap the metal foil around the sleeve overlapping the ends by at least 30 mm, then fix with the self-tapping screws provided (at least two per collar); 4. secure the collar using self-tapping screws or metal expansion plugs depending on the structure.
