TECHNICAL DATA SHEET AF COLLAR C Firestop collar for special applications for mechanical systems penetrations DESCRIPTION AF COLLAR C is a special fire protection element certified under EN 1366-3 for up to EI 240 protection of combustible pipe penetrations with bends or branches adjacent to walls/floors. Its "C" shape enables to follow the pipe's curved profile and avoid the more complex construction of box protections in gypsum or silicate-based slabs. SPECIFICATION Supply and application of AF COLLAR C firestop collars, consisting of a stainless steel "C"-shaped structure and "Firefill" 50/70/100 intumescent material, for protection up to EI 240 of combustible pipe penetrations, even with flush penetration bends. The size, up to a maximum diameter of 250 mm, is defined based on the penetration's cross-section.
