Airlite Primer HP Technical Sheet High point white High washability High coverage with just one coat Formaldeide Free Airlite Primer HP is a pigmented fixative based on special acrylic polymers in water dispersion with intense coverage, opacity, masking power, high point weight, high washability, Free of solvents, formaldehyde and with very low levels of VOC (Directive 2004/42/EC). Particularly suitable for difficult surfaces such as plasterboard and gypsum levelling, It can also be used for wall supports where an intense single coat finish is required. New substrates and/or any restoration (patches) must be cured for at least 4 weeks and must be clean and dry. Any old substrates must be consistent, free of saline efflorescence and loose flakes. Surfaces must be carefully cleaned according to the nature and intensity of dirt deposited on the surfaces to be treated. To level out and fill imperfections such as holes, cracks or craze, first use a suitable product or repair mortar. Clean any mould or algae trace with the Airlite Anti-Mold. On already painted surfaces, make sure that the surface is perfect: brush and/or scrape off the surface film, completely remove high layers of non-adherent paints. - Short-haired roller - Brush - Roller grid - Empty can Dilution with water 15-20% 1 Fill a container with 0.75 litres of clean water. 2 Pour the prepared water into 5 litres of Airlite Primer HP. 3 Using a mixer, mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. 4 Apply Airlite Primer HP by roller, brush or airless spray gun. Airlite Primer HP is not frost resistant. Store at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C in original sealed containers. Under these conditions, the shelf life of the product is at least one year. Airlite Primer HP is supplied in 5 litre and 10 litre packages. Important warnings Do not apply with ambient temperature and/or substrate temperature lower than +5°C or higher than +35°C and with relative humidity higher than 75%. Avoid application in the presence of surface condensation, under direct sunlight or strong wind. For the proper preparation, it is essential to respect the following quantities of water and product to be mixed.
