3.1 Luftspjæld Brændeovnen er forsynet med forskellige luftspjæld til regulering af luften i forbindelse med forbrændingen: primært, sekundært og tertiært luftspjæld. Primærluft bruges i starten til at få bålet i gang, sekundærluften holder bålet ved lige, og tertiærluften sikrer, at røggasserne afbrændes. Brændeovnen skal altid tilføres sekundær- og tertiærluft, mens der fyres i brændeovnen. 3.1.1 Sekundærspjæld Sekundærspjældet øverst bag lågen skal altid være åbent, mens der fyres i brændeovnen. 3.2.1 Sådan betjenes Aduro-tronic Ved optænding Ved første optænding af brændeovnen skal der tilføres maksimal mængde primærluft for at antænde bålet. Derfor skal primærspjældet holdes ”tvangsåbent”. Dette gøres ved at trække primærspjældet helt ud og dernæst sætte den medfølgende Aduro-nøgle i klemme (se illustration).
