3.3 Tilslutning til muret skorsten Hvis brændeovnen skal tilsluttes en muret skorsten, benyttes bagudgangen eller et buet røgrør via topafgangen. Efter opmåling laves hul i skorstenen, hvor murbøsningen placeres og mures tæt med pejsemørtel. Herefter placeres brændeovnen, og røgrøret sættes på plads. Læg en tynd pakning mellem røgrør og murbøsning for at tætne samlingerne.
