Product catalog summary
Product Overview: MARMOREX GREY is an adhesive mortar classified as C1 TE according to SR EN 12004+A1 / 2012, designed for use with marble, granite, and granite floor tiles. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, in moist or dry areas, and can withstand temperatures from -25°C to +80°C. It is not suitable for application on wood, plastic, or metal surfaces.
Characteristics: The adhesive offers high resistance, adherence, flexibility, and is easy to process.
Technical Data: The adhesive is composed of cement, mineral aggregates, polymers, and plasticizers. It has a slippage of max 0.5 mm and an initial adherence by tension of min 0.5 N/mm². The bucket time is approximately 2 hours, with an open time of 30 minutes. The recommended air/substrate temperature for application is between +5°C and +30°C. Consumption is approximately 3-4 kg/m², and it is packaged in 25 kg paper bags.
Base Preparation: The surface must be clean, dry, and free of any materials that could form a separator layer. It should be resistant, without cracks, and any fragile areas or mortar residues must be removed. The base should be washed and degreased at least 4 hours before application.
Processing Instructions: Mix 25 kg of the adhesive with approximately 6-6.5 liters of clean water using an electric mixer. Allow the mixture to rest for 5-10 minutes before applying a 4-5 mm layer on the base. The adhesive should be applied to both the base and the plating material to ensure 100% contact.
Post-Application: The plated surface should be jointed after a minimum of 24 hours, and any subsequent work should be performed after at least 72 hours. These times are based on conditions of 20°C and 65% relative humidity.
Important Considerations: Protect surfaces from fast dehydration, bad weather, or frost. Avoid direct sunlight exposure during adhesion. Follow the technical security sheet for safety information. The technical sheet is based on current product experience and does not replace user evaluation for specific applications.
