ECOBAFFLE™

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Ecobaffle™ is an innovative line of polyester sound-absorbing baffles by Acustico®, designed for acoustic treatment in large spaces and industrial settings. These baffles are double-sided absorbers, enhancing sound absorption by exposing both panel faces to sound waves.

Manufacturing and Design
The panels are made using a surface thermo-smoothing process, allowing for standard or custom dimensions without additional containment structures. They are eco-friendly, made from recycled and recyclable materials.

Applications
Ecobaffle™ is suitable for schools, collective spaces, industries, restaurants, offices, gyms, swimming pools, music halls, and auditoriums.

Technical Specifications
Ecobaffle™ panels are made of PET polyester fiber, are fire-resistant (Euroclass B-s2,d0), and do not emit toxic fumes. They are resistant to chemicals, microorganisms, and are odor-free. The panels are available in various dimensions and colors (black, white, grey) with a standard thickness of 40 mm.

Installation
These panels can be installed on ceilings using various fixing systems, offering excellent performance even at low frequencies due to their double-sided sound absorption.

Sustainability
Ecobaffle™ complies with USGBC - LEED® v4 and UNI EN ISO 14021:2016 standards, ensuring no hazardous substances or inhalable dust are released into the environment.

ECOBAFFLE™-1

Technical data sheet Polyester sound-absorbing baffles Acustico® offers an innovative baffle absorbers line, named Ecobaffle™, suitable for the acoustic treatment of big collective spaces and industrial plants, where efficiency and economy are required. The technical definition “baffles” usually describes sound-absorbing modules vertically installed to the ceiling. This specific installing method directly exposes both the panel faces to sound waves, increasing the sound absorbing properties of the panel: for this reason, these modules are commonly called double-sided absorbers. The manufacturing technology of Ecobaffle™ panels consists of a specific production process of surface thermo-smoothing and the next shaping in standard or customized dimensions and formats. This process increases the acoustic performances of the panel and makes the material more compact as well, permitting to avoid the use of additional containment structures, which are normally adopted in the common baffles. Ecobaffle™ modules are developed according to a green and sustainable approach, being entirely realized with eco-compatible, recycled and recyclable materials.
