EPDM foam weather draft seal gasket on the inside of the cover assures weather tight construction. The cover is 11Ga Aluminum with a 20Ga aluminum inside liner, with thicknesses adjusted to suit sizes. Curb: 11Ga Aluminum with 3” thick Polyiso (R-18) insulation integrating non-conductive separator between exposed exterior and interior surfaces, providing superior thermal performance and improved energy efficiency. Curb is 12” high. Thermal Performance: Tested to ASTM C1363-11 (Standard Test Method for Thermal Performance of Building Materials and Envelope Assemblies by Means of a Hot Box Apparatus) Hinge: Heavy duty Aluminum pintle hinges with 3/8” SS Pin Opening: Gas Spring operators allow cover to open and close with ease.
