Technical Data Sheet Main Features: The flexible band design helps maintain a constant pressure irrespective of head sizes, at a comfortable level. Flexible band allows instant fitting and optimal positioning. Round plugs do not enter the ear canal for better hygiene and less risk of irritation. Economical, easily replaceable plugs for increased convenience. Bright colours for easy safety checks. Can be worn behind-the-head or under-the-chin. The following materials are used in the production of the 3M 1310 Banded Ear Plug: Headband - Acetal Plugs - Polyurethane foam Attenuation: Attenuation data for the 3M 1310 Banded Ear Plug (according to EN24869-1) Applications: The 3M 1310 Banded Ear Plug can be used in many industries where harmful noise is present such as: Metal Industry Aircraft Automotive Woodworking Textile Printing Construction Health Industry Approvals: The 3M 1310 Banded Ear Plugs have been shown to meet the Basic Safety Requirements under Article 10 of the European Community Directive 89/686. The 3M 1310 Banded Ear Plugs are tested to EN352-2:1993 and are CE marked. Information: The packaging of the 3M 1310 Banded Ear Plugs complies with the requirements of EN352-2. Fitting Instructions: 1 Grasp behind the pad and pull headband gently apart. 2 Direct the plugs towards the ear canal opening. Push in* and move in all directions for best seal. 3 The banded plugs can be worn under-the-chin or behind-the-head. * It may be necessary to pull up and outward on the outer ear, whilst pressing the plug toward the ear canal for effective seal. Care should be taken to refit the plug if it becomes dislodged through movement. Before each fitting the plugs should be inspected to ensure they are in good condition.
