JOINT COVERS, PROFILES FOR JOINTS AND ACCESSORIES JOIN BT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION JOIN BT is self-adhesive waterproofing tape to be used in combination with PLASTIVO or AQUASCUD polymer-modified cement-based coatings. It is composed of an alkali-resistant polypropylene non-woven material coupled with a layer of butyl adhesive protected by a removable, pre-cut silicone-coated film paper. PRODUCT APPLICATION • Waterproofing of the joining point between surfaces subject to thermal or dynamic movements • To seal joints between different materials (cement-based screed, metal, ceramic, fittings and drains, etc) • To seal connections with poor access, such as thresholds/screed • Application is practical and simple, easy and quick thanks to the self-adhering capacity • Good impermeability • Good elasticity • Good adhesion on different types of surfaces (bituminous membranes, concrete, PVC, ceramic, plastic, polycarbonate, glass, wood, metal, etc) Preparation and installation Clean the surfaces removing every trace of dirt, oil, dust and any other material or deposit that can compromise the adhesion and function of JOIN BT. For fixing on screed, preventively apply a layer of PLASTIVO or AQUASCUD waterproofing cementbased coating on the screed-tape contact surface, and let cure. Install JOIN BT by removing the protective silicone-coated film and pressing the tape onto the installation surfaces. Any connections between the ends of the tape are set up by simply overlapping the ends by at least 5 cm, after having removed the protective silicone-coated film paper. Upon completion, cover the tape with PLASTIVO or AQUASCUD waterproofing cement-based coatings. Next, protect JOIN BT to avoid any type of damage that could be caused by foot traffic, drive-on traffic and by any other type of impact, punching, stress, etc. JOIN BT is supplied in packs of 20 m. WARNINGS - IMPORTANT NOTES Do not use JOIN BT on dusty, dirty, unclean or wet surfaces.

JOIN BT function and duration depend on the conditions and duration of the surfaces it is installed on. Do not use in conditions of negative pressure.
