Defender EVO ADDITIVE FOR STARLIKE® EVO TO PROTECT THE GROUT AGAINST WEATHERING. The Starlike® EVO + Defender EVO system is certified as a surface with excellent protection against weathering. Tests by third-party accredited laboratories demonstrate the antimicrobial performance against mould and bacteria types Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus, and against viruses in the Coronavidae family. Antiviral test Thanks to the study conducted in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology of the University of Bologna, in the Microbiology laboratory - Sant’Orsola Hospital, Litokol found that the surface obtained with the Starlike® EVO + Defender EVO system is protected against viral attacks (elimination of up to 98.4% of SARS CoV-2 viral load, the virus responsible for COVID-19) after just 2 hours of contact and does not maintain an environment hospitable to the virus.
