Antique Oak | Steamed Rustic Oak Veneer thickness 0.9 mm Medullary Rays Sound Knot Colour Variation Extremely vivid pattern of intergrowth in the wood grain, arrangement of knot whorls or imprints in the tree trunk caused by foreign bodies; intensive but not very frequent figure. Knots can break out of the sheets due to subsequent drying of the wood as well as manipulation of the veneers, creating an open defect. For this reason, we bond the veneers with black glue, in the same way as the cracks, to achieve aesthetic colouring with depth effect. The size of these open defects is undefined...
