The Poet Inspired by ”free art”, Finn Juhl designed Poeten for his own home in 1941. In his opinion furniture should complete a room together with arts and handicrafts. Today this sofa represents a part of Danish cultural history and modern furniture that exudes values that have more or less disappeared in these days of fleeting fancies. The Poet is made to the finest manufacturing standards with hand-sewn upholstery, and it's legs come in several different types of wood. finnjuhl2009.indd 16 22/12/09 12:50 PM

The result was an easy, elegant and tantalising expression that came to characterise Finn Juhl and make him world famous as an unrivalled designer. The sofa has been produced in more lengths and is used in several of Finn Juhl’s famous interior designs and it is with its asymmetric look, probably the best example of how he found inspiration from the works of painters and artists at the time. The Wall sofa is delivered with hand sewn upholstery in wool of customer’s choice. The hanging frame is made of lacquered steel and is mounted to a wall. finnjuhl2009.indd 36 17/12/09 3:08...
