The right light for every purpose Advanced LED technology LEXELTM technology inside TEMPURA LEXELTM is a registered trademark of T.I.R Systems Ltd. The cooling fins have a sandwich structure. They guide heat out into the surrounding air through the ventilation openings in the die-cast aluminium housing. The electronic power supply has an initial power consumption of 44 W (60 W after 50,000 hours) and is fitted in the spotlight's rectangular gear box. It responds optionally to signals from the EMOTION touch panel, DMX protocol signals or signals from both sets of soft keys for the stand-alone spotlight. LED and control board are connected to heat pipes. These pipes contain a chemical liquid which is an extremely good heat conductor and quickly conducts released heat into the cooling fins behind the pipes. This feature makes it possible to guarantee a service life of 50,000 hours. The control board receives signals from the EMOTION touch panel, DMX protocol signals or signals from the stand-alone keypad, and controls the colour temperature and mixing of RGB colours. The LED board with 24 highquality chip-on-board LEDs is divided up into six clusters arranged in a circular configuration. A sensor in the centre of the LED board continuously measures the luminous flux, colour temperature and light colour. As the LEDs' illumination output decreases, luminous flux is automatically readjusted and the lumen package of the spotlight is stabilised for more than 50,000 hours of operation. Six honeycomb-shaped lenses concentrate and homogenise light from the chip-on-board LEDs into a 16° beam angle.
