The RGB colour space

Infinite interplay of colours: In the RGB colour space, creativity is paramount. Colours can be mixed at whim, from red to yellow, from yellow to blue or across the range.

Any desired point anywhere within the area of the colour triangle can be achieved by mixing the basic colours red, green and blue. To increase the saturation of the colours and thus provide an even wider and more dynamic col- our spectrum, colour filters are used in CIELOS luminaires, in addition to coloured lamps. To achieve really brilliant shades of colour, the optic must make its contribution. Many conventional diffusers have a greenish hue that makes the light appear sallow. Not so the high-quality safety glass used in CIELOS. Its shade of white is not just clean, but pure.
