LEDOS O Recessed wall and floor luminaire

Making it easier to find one’s way around, providing accent lighting, designing rooms with decorative points of light – LEDOS O, with its low recessed height, can be used in interior design situations where conven- tional luminaire technology is stretched to limit. LEDOS O still scores highly, even when the budget is low and, as an afford- able entry-level LED luminaire, effortlessly provides the kind of attractive accent lighting that is nowadays expected of compre- hensive lighting design. It is not just the elegant, self-effacing appearance of this recessed wall and floor luminaire that is fascinating; more than anything else, its tiny recessed depth of just 8 mm makes it perfect for installation in wooden floors, wooden and plaster walls as well as in furnishings and fix- tures. This enables it to assist guidance and orientation in foy- ers, corridors, passageways and staircases, at the same time providing attractive focal points of interest. LEDOS O is available in both round and square versions. The design of its attractive special- steel housing without visible screw heads underlines the ele- gant first impression it makes. Because of the lateral arrange- ment of its surface mounted device LEDs (SMD LED), the glass cover made of frosted polycarbonate is extremely uni- formly lit by white (colour tem- perature approximately 4,500 K) or blue light. This plain point of light can be enhanced by insert- ing transparent foil with a motif, e.g. printed by using a PC, and used to communicate a symbol- ist message. This makes it possible to imple-ment concise solutions for marking out routes, rooms or doors in special colours quickly and straightforwardly.LEDOS O is mop-waterproof and can be walked on (maxi- mum weight 250 kg).
