PASO II PowerLED Recessed luminaire for projecting light

The PASO II PowerLED combines the most powerful LED technol- ogy and efficient luminaire design to achieve synergies that deliver remarkable results. As a special luminaire for projected light, the recessed floor luminaires boast 3 x 1 W high-performance LED modules. When teamed with a sophisticated optic, this provides easily enough power to achieve sensational illumination of indoor or outdoor wall areas or objects – with dynamically changing col- ours if required. With its narrow-beam pattern, PASO II PowerLED enables intense concentration of white, coloured or dynamically colour-changing RGB projected light. The control gear is factory fitted in the housing of the mono- chrome luminaires which can therefore be directly adapted and switched through the mains voltage. The RGB models are controlled by separate, intelli- gent control gear that uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). They are wired in a star configu- ration. The appearance of this luminaire is particularly adaptable. Basi- cally, round and square models having a diameter/side length of 120 mm are available. PASO II PowerLED product advantages • Power consumption is only 3 W • Extremely long service life of LEDs ensures long mainte- nance intervals and preserva- tion of IP67 protection because seals are not stressed • Max. surface temperature of glass cover is 40°C: this pre- vents skin burns or heat scorch on soles of shoes or plastic bags • Flush-fitting models prevent tripping – an important safety aspect for the elderly or dis- abled • Sealing system (patent pend-ing) prevents ingress of sur- face water into base plate in case of indoor applications There is an option of an overlap-ping or flush-fitting cover frame. A purist, pared-down version of the flush-fitting model without a solid special-steel frame is also available (glass-only version).Installation in solid floors or • Intense white as well as col-oured light without losses caused by using colour filters • Option of dynamically chang-ing coloured lighting (RGB) using PWM with separate control gear, can be adapted to suit all available bus signals (DALI, DMX, 1–10 V) raised wooden floors is extremely straightforward thanks to cast- ing surrounds and cellular floor installation kits respectively. Use as an IP65 downlight is also easily possible.
