VE-W Installation

Installation of medical gases Insert on-site gas pipes into the locating strips of the mounting template. Caution: General information on installation Mains power must always be on outside. Oxygen (G3) must always be on inside.Elbow couplings must be pro-cured by “medical gas” contractor. Installation must be performed in accordance with instructions, and must only be carried out by skilled qualified staff.

Front-end feed

Installation instructions – Attach mounting plates, allow necessary clearances! Last mounting plate is located 80 mm in front of outer edge of front panel Shown below: right-hand front- end feed (left-hand front-end feed mirror-inverted)– Mark mounting centreline (MA) – Make opening in the wall – Insert electrical cables, allow excess length of at least 500 mm– Place feed socket in position– Mark fixing points – Drill fixing holes and insert wall plugs Caution: Fixing accessories must be appropriate to structural strength of wall; maximum tensile load per mounting plate is 260 N!
