Installation surfaces consist primarily of: • cement screeds of various type; • anhydrite screeds; • wood boards and similar; • existing floor. The primary goal is to protect the wood flooring from moisture and humidity, whether it be related to the construction of the building, rising dampness, condensation or use. Floating Installation Floating installation may not be used with solid parquet, which can only be glued or nailed/screwed. Heated flooring is also discouraged. PARQUET IN THE BATHROOM Walking barefoot on the wood is delightful, giving you “antique” sensations. So why not have it in the bathroom and turn it into a real spa area? To avoid swelling, shrinkage and in general deformation of the parquet, a few parameters should be kept monitored. The operatingtemperature of the heating system must be low and should not exceed 30°C. After installation, the temperature of the parquet surface should not exceed 26°C. The ideal would be a room temperature of 18-21°C with a relative humidity of 50-60%.
