Installation Guide The Xtratherm CavityTherm System can be installed by competent, traditional brick /block layers. The engineered jointing of the components makes installation easier and ensures the continuity of the insulation layer. Start with the inner leaf of the wall to least 450mm above the foundations to allow at least a 150mm over lap with the floor insulation. Install the first row of boards, allowing for the floor insulation overlap, supported by at least 2 wall ties per board.
