For many commercial high temperature building kitchen and industrial process applications, where hot gases or saturated air is present, it is a requirement to use a fan with the motor located out of the airstream.
Xpelair offer two solutions; the Xpelair BiFlex Axial, a traditional split air path bifurcated contemporary design with the direct drive foot mounted motor located in a separate compartment. The design is suitable for use with circular rigid ductwork.
The new Xpelair KitchenX takes a less conventional but more flexible approach and delivers greater pressure. The motor
is again located out of the airstream but a centrifugal fan is used within a housing offering multiple options. Unlike similar tangential units Xpelair KitchenX has a linear direction of intake and output. But also the flexibility of the outlet being changed on site from in line to left or right hand discharge. What's more the motor and impeller are housed on a hinged inspection door manufacturer for planned maintenance access.
Whatever the ducted application, Xpelair has fresh product ideas and all the accessories too. Whether it be controllers or ducting accessories, it's all presented for easy selection.
