WOOD FIBER PRODUCTS

Description

IKO's Wood Fiber Products are produced from select wood fibers, bonded together by heat, pressure and premium asphalt resin. All products are produced under rigid quality control at IKO's facility in Calgary, Alberta. This facility has operated continuously since 1969 and is constantly upgraded to ensure that IKO Wood Fiber Products are manufactured to the highest standards.

Usage

■ High Density Sheathing & Roofboard Panels

- Overlay board in new roof construction.

- Re-cover board in re-roof application.

■ Wood Fiber Roof Insulation- Overlay board in

new roof construction.

- Re-cover board in re-roof application.

- Provides insulation that is compatible with built-up roofing systems, modified bitumen, and most single-ply roofing systems (check with single-ply manufacturer).

■ Channel Vent Roof Insulation (Special order only.)

- A unique use of IKO Wood Fiber Roof Insulation that helps to distribute air pressure and vent moisture-laden air.

Features & Benefits

■ Composed of natural wood fibers treated with an asphalt emulsion that reduces moisture absorption and prevents rot.

■ Structural integrity adds strength and rigidity to the roof system, and lateral stability in sheathing applications.

■ Uniform high-density construction helps withstand normal deck traffic and resists cracking and buckling.

■ Coated top surface provides ideal surface for modified bitumen and built-up roofing systems, reducing asphalt absorption during roofing application (coated 2 sides also available for the B.C. market.).

■ Ideal leveling / re-cover board for re-roofing over existing built-up roofing systems.

■ Available in standard or high density depending on application requirements.

PL		Plain: A standard amount of asphalt emulsion is used to give the board its moisture resistance and structural stability. The finished product is not coated with asphalt emulsion.
S / C	Standard / Coated: A standard amount of asphalt emulsion is used to give the board its moisture resistance and structural stability. The top surface is coated with asphalt emulsion.
I / C	Impregnated / Coated: An increased amount of asphalt emulsion is impregnated into the board to increase its moisture resistance. The top surface is coated with asphalt emulsion.
6 SIDED <^		Coated on 6 Sides: The finished product is impregnated and coated on all sides with select coatings.
