Solis.Simply intuitive.

The interplay of flexible, ergonomic shelldesigns with new automatic synchro-adjust- ment provides support in many different sittingpostures and ensures a high degree of seatedcomfort. Whether the user sits upright or relaxes, when alternating between phases of concentration and movement the wide seat/ backrest angle with specially adjusted kineticsaddresses both efficient working and individualhealth. Innovative details ensure fully automatic adjustment of the seat with the sequence of movement: for example, the seat front lowers synchronously with movement.Sit down, adjust for height and weight – that’sall! Solis takes care of everything else, encour- aging frequent changes in posture, a practice that is today recommended by all leadingergonomists.

The same applies to the adjustmentof the seat depth: the seat platform shifts under the the pelvic wedge and is equally simple to adjust:relieve pressure on the seat plat-form, lift the front and simply pull it out or push it in. This principleallows considerable extension orshortening of the seat depth (400–450mm) compared with the normal depth. Furthermore, theactive pelvic support automaticallyremains fixed in the correct position in relation to the backrest. 31° 60 mm + 50 mm 400 mm Adjustment options are onlysensible if they are easily recogniz-able and accessible and can beoperated intuitively. On modelswith a height-adjustable backrest, the backrest bearer has thereforebeen designed as a visible, retractable telescope. Heightisadjustable while the user is seated,by simply taking hold of the back- rest and pushing it up. Sevenlocking positions within a rangeof60 mm allow fine adjustment of the integral lumbar support.
