The new build by architects Herzog & de Meuron from Basel has a complex shape, consisting of a stack of cylindrical and horseshoe-shaped forms which are offset against one another from storey to storey, but connected on the inside by a spiral staircase. Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford – Modus The school was founded in 2010 and calls itself an i ­nternational centre of excellence for studies in government and public policy. It has already gained an excellent reputation for itself within a short space of time. Since 2015, about 120 students annually have followed the master of public policy course. The large lecture theatre in the new building was equipped with around 200 chairs from the Modus range. In this case, the basic model without armrests was selected.
