All individual components are designedfor maximum functionality and longevity and with great attention to detail. The slender, ergonomically designedseat shell in hardwearing, through-dyed polypropylene has firm upholstery in air-permeable polyurethane with adetachable cover. It is mounted and secured by means of integral steelbandings. The distinctive swing armrests in die-cast aluminium follow the line of the backrest. They combine high- performance stability with a curved,dynamic appearance which marks theunmistakable silhouette of the FS-Line. Last but not least, the slender five-starbase in die-cast aluminium provides stability in any position. The key designfeatures are the finely coordinated radiiand a high-grade finish. By means of two steel springs, the easily accessible, patented auto-synchro adjustment mechanism allows the counter-pressure of the backrest to beregulated individually by means of ahandwheel, so that the chair can be adjusted to the user’s weight withinseconds. The flexible armrests in high-performance polypropylene provide a comfortable support and adjust fullyautomatically in height, inclination andlength, depending on movement andthe seat/backrest angle of the shell. Three swivel axes are designed to allow the seat, backrest andarmrests to follow any movementand change in posture.For sitting up straight, lounging or stretching out: the ingeniouscombination of a flexible structure and an elastic shell providessupport and adjustment in anysitting position – and the mechanism is infinitely variable and fully automatic.

Sitting-related illnesses have become the most frequent occupational disease – in spite of the fact that ”ergonomic” office chairs suppliers have been developed for some thirty years.
